Modular Concept Through Electronics
The main feature of the new VarioSIGN is the multi-function electronic modularity of the light elements replacing the traditional mechanical modular concept of signal towers.

Depending on the product type, the light elements can be illuminated tier by tier, completely and in different colour selections. The light elements give clear, 360 degree visibility.

Beautifully Understated  Innovative and Unobtrusive Design
Thanks to the modern design and innovative plastic housing the new VarioSIGN looks good in applications where the style and design of the machine being guarded is also important.

If no light signal is active, the colourless translucent housing lets the LED signal tower blend effortlessly into the background.  Only once light elements are activated does the unit become filled with colour, grabbing the attention that the unit has been designed to achieve.

Different Mounting Positions
The illuminated body of VarioSIGN can be positioned to point upwards, downwards or sideways, guaranteeing optimum visibility.

Variable Lighting Configurations
The colours and lighting configuration of VarioSIGN, depending upon type, can be set individually by DIP switch and changed at any time.
One variant uses RGB-LEDs offering maximum flexibility.  This version can be set to offer a permanent light as well as flash and EVS.  Furthermore the entire signal tower or the individual tiers can be illuminated in seven different colours (red, yellow, green, blue, clear, violet and turquoise).

Noisy Addition
The new VarioSIGN is also available with an integral buzzer which gives an output of 85dB thus maximising the attention-grabbing effect of the unit.

WERMA Opens It’s Own Facility in the UK

The South Germany based signal technology manufacturer WERMA Signaltechnik has opened a UK facility on 1st May 2007.

The opening of the facility comprising of an extensive warehouse and sales organisation, was witnessed by a number of visitors from the local industrial scene who were able to see at first hand examples of the extensive range of signal products available from the company.

The demand for optical and acoustic signal devices in the UK has increased steadily in recent years.  WERMA products are no strangers to the market place having been available from a number of distribution sources for the last five years.  The new facility based in Kettering Northants will enable the company to react  quickly and efficiently to customer demand and offer also a complete technical service from the experienced local team.
