The Hygiecode SMC range offers a compact yet robust 22mm fitting and provides environmental protection up to 105C. and is suitable for high pressure hosing. The housing is finished and sealed with a stainless steel back plate for extra mechanical and environmental durability.

In addition to the high specification enclosure the switch offers a wide 14mm sensing distance, a high tolerance to misalignment, LED indication of switch status, ‘anti-tamper’ coded magnetic actuation, and 2NC 1NO switching circuits to cope with modern industrial control requirements.

They will connect to most popular Safety Monitoring relays to provide up to Cat. 4 EN 954-1 and SIL 3.

Available with up to 2 circuits switching high power up to 2A at 230V.ac.  The Idemag CPR range offers a compact slimline fitting and provides environmental protection up to 80C. and is suitable for high pressure hosing (IP66/67).

One of the areas which makes the Guardian Line new and innovative is in the area of rope connectivity. Traditional ‘turnbuckle’ style rope fasteners and adjusters are prone to rope slippage and require frequent re-tensioning leading to production loss caused by machine down time.

Idem has overcome this common problem by providing a ‘no nuts or bolts’ rope connection system with a ‘Quick Link’ clasp at one end of the rope and a patented Tensioner /Gripper at the other.

The Tensioner / Gripper is located at the switch (rather than elsewhere along the rope length) so that the switch tension window can be viewed.

Final setting and locking can be achieved in a matter of seconds without any need for frequent re-tensioning.
