Cynergy3 IWPTLU Series – Low Range Industrial Wireless Pressure Transducer

The IWPTLU Wireless Pressure Transducer is a cost effective replacement to a traditionally wired pressure transducer that offers the advantages of a low-cost installation in inaccessible and expensive installation environments.

It is easily paired to the compatible IWR family of single- or five-channel wireless receivers thus offering a “plug and play” solution to your pressure measurement applications.

The instrument uses a piezo-resistive silicon sensor mounted within a 316 stainless steel housing giving excellent media compatibility for the harshest of applications.

The IWPT sensor can be used with either an IWR-1 or IWR-5 receiver. A line-of-sight range of up to 1640 ft is possible depending on the wireless receiver used. (refer to datasheets IWR-1 & IWR-5 for further information)

Each device is temperature compensated, calibrated and supplied with a traceable serial number.

The IWCTT Wireless Transmitter is a cost effective alternative to traditional wiring that offers the advantages of a low-cost installation in inaccessible and expensive installation environments.

Operates with any Split Core current transformer which gives a mV AC output, typically 333mV.  It is easily paired to any of the range of IWR receivers – thus offering a “plug and play” solution to your current measuring application.

The IWCTT sensor should be used with any of the IWR range of receivers. A line-of-sight range of up to 500 m is possible depending on the wireless receiver used (refer to specific receiver datasheets for further information).

Cynergy3 IoT Gateway – Remote Asset Monitoring

The IoT Gateway allows virtually any sensor to be monitored from anywhere with a Cellular connection.

As standard the IoT Gateway accepts inputs from the following:
• Up to 128 IWT Industrial Wireless Transmitters
• 4 off 4-20 mA or 0-10 V analog inputs
• 8 off digital inputs
• 4 off Relay outputs
• Any Modbus enabled instrument over RS-232, RS-485, or Ethernet
• I²C and/or SPI sensors (may need custom software)
• The IoT Gateway uses the MQTT protocol to send this data to remote servers using the built-in 2G/3G or 4G modem.

As Standard, the remote server runs a standard web-based SCADA project which allows monitoring of the inputs and logged data from any device with an Cellular connection.
This package can also provide automated custom reports and email or SMS alarm messages.
Other options include a built-in GPS module and a local display showing input values and set-up information.

Sensasta (Cynergy3) are pleased to announce the launch of the FLPV Series of Float Switches from our Level and Flow product line to our Global Distribution Network.

The FLPV is a flameproof vertical float switch range, with single or dual float, designed to give the user a long reach with a number of switching options, catering to a wide variety of system requirements. Manufactured in stainless steel 316L material, these ATEX and PED certified switches are suitable use in many aggressive liquids or hygienic applications.

Sensata (Cynergy3) FSU Series Flow Detection Switch

Sensata is pleased to announce the Cynergy3 FSU Series Flow Detection Switch.

FSU Series switches have industry standard process connection sizes (push fit or NPT thread) that give a quick and reliable method of installation. The FSU Series of pre-set switches uses a reliable and robust reed switch design for operation. This family is NSF-61 certified and therefore meets the stringent requirements for the control of equipment that comes in contact with potable water.

These flow switches are designed for use in liquid flow systems at pressures up to 10 bar and temperatures up to 85ºC. The switches are supplied with a standard wire length and flow rate set points, but can be customized to suit customer needs.

Why the FSU?
Wherever there is a need to detect the flow of fluid there may be a requirement for a flow switch. To list all areas where this is applicable to the FSU is prohibitive. However the FSU will be used as either a process
control device or system protection device. The FSU is compact, reliable and has very little pressure drop across the switch due to its design, and more cost effective compared to its competitors.

Any automated system potentially poses a risk to people, property or the environment. For this reason a number of safety measures have been taken. Safety standards have been created with one thing in mind: limiting risk.

With these standards as a framework, functional safety can, after a risk analysis, provide appropriate protection. Hazards are anticipated during the system design phase and are dealt with before they occur. These standards have evolved to increase the safety level and have been applicable since 2012.
