The Honeywell V15W is a standard-sized basic switch designed for harsh-duty, wash down areas. Rugged yet precise, the series provides machine control for turning circuits on and off. The V15W can be used in a wide range of challenging environments, including food packaging plants, forklifts, atvs, golf cars, lawn mowers, garbage trucks, salt trucks, commercial buses, forklifts and wheelchair lifts for conversion vans. Choose the V15W when you need accurate repeatability in a compact, light weight and long lasting basic switch.

V15W Watertight Series:  Watertight switch in a V-size package. Watertight to an IP67 rating (switch body only). The V15W is designed for applications requiring >15 g operating force and electrical ratings from 0.1 A to 10 A.

Schurter, as a leading supplier of EMC products is constantly improving the use of its products. The Schurter common mode chokes datasheets now contain impedance diagrams and cURus approval mark.

Current compensated chokes are used to attenuate asymmetrical noise. Such common mode noise is typical for switch circuits such as switching power supplies or inverters.  The compact chokes guarantee efficient disturbance suppression on the printed circuit board. Very compact types for surface mounting are also available as are chokes with wire leads for easy assembling for high power applications.

According to the noise level design engineers can easily select the right choke using the impedance diagram.  This may help to avoid many costly and time consuming measurements. Impedance diagrams are now available for all common mode chokes.

A safety certificate can be obtained even quicker due to the new UL approvals for our chokes.  All Schurter common mode chokes have now the combined UL and CSA approval mark cURus. They were successfully tested according to the UL 1283 and CSA 22.2 No. 8 standard. Approval marks and standards are now listed on all the data sheets.

Crydom expands its extensive line of DC Switching Solutions with the introduction of the “HDC” Series rated up to 160 amps and 200 VDC

Crydom, a brand of Custom Sensors & Technologies (CST) and global expert in Solid Switching Technology, introduces the “HDC Series” of high current DC Output Contactors. The HDC Series extends Crydom’s extensive range of DC Output Solid State Controls up to 160 amps at 200 VDC in a 40°C ambient. Featuring a robust encapsulated plastic package with large power terminals, the HDC Series includes a heavy duty aluminum base plate for superior thermal performance and easy mounting to a heat sink, panel or backplane.

The HDC Series incorporates Crydom’s advanced high speed DC switching circuit and low power dissipation Power FETs for optimum performance to deliver superior DC load control including PWM in many applications such as solar arrays, packaging machinery, automotive accessories, recreational vehicles and accessories, marine applications, process controls, power supplies, etc. A logic compatible 4.5 to 32 VDC control input or a 90 to 140 VAC input, both with LED input status indicator, offer low power consumption control as well as 2.5 Kv Optical isolation for superior surge protection.

Available in either a 120 or 160 amp output rating, the HDC Series is housed in an industry standard 75 x 105 mm package with .375 inch/9.52 mm screw terminals and is available with optional installed thermal interface pad. The Schaffner Group has expanded its product range by the single-stage FN9280 and double-stage FN9290 IEC inlet filters. The new EMC/EMI filter modules with type C14 IEC appliance inlet set the benchmark due to their ultra-compact design, patented combined switch and fuse holder unit, the versatile flange mount system for fast and flexible installation and are either deliverable with fast-on or spring cage terminals.

Despite the compact design of the filter with a height of only 46mm, the combined unit with dual fuse holder provides extra space for a spare fuse. The dual pole power switch disconnects all poles of the device from the mains and can be removed for maintenance thanks to the integration into the combined unit in order to specifically avoid accidental connection and power-on.

For cabling inside the device, the new IEC inlet filters are available with proven fast-on tabs or spring cage terminals for faster and vibration-proof wiring.

The new flange mount system with either horizontal or vertical mounting holes provides maximum flexibility for front or back mounting. Because of the RF tight joining of the flange frames with the deep-drawn steel housings an optimal shielding even against strong magnetic fields has been achieved.

The FN9280 series is equipped with proven single-stage EMC/EMI filters. The FN9290 series requiring the identical panel cutout has a double-stage EMC/EMI filter with an attenuation of up to 80dB and is ideally suited for applications with higher interference levels. The B versions of both series with a minimal leakage current of 5uA max. are suited for use in medical devices. The FN9280 series can optionally be delivered as E version with earth line choke for additional asymmetric interference suppression.

The new series are designed for currents from 1 to 10A with a rated voltage up to 250Vac. They are approved for worldwide use according to UL, CSA, ENEC and CQC and conform to RoHS and REACH. The B-versions comply with the requirements of the active third edition of the safety standard IEC/EN60601-1 for medical devices.

Schurter, the leading provider of fuse holders, is expanding its range to include a fuse clip designed for heavy duty performance. The CSO clip, designed for 10.3 mm diameter fuses, is suitable for applications with voltages up to 1500 VAC/VDC and currents to 32A. These unique characteristics are Schurter’s response to the present need for increasing photovoltaic system voltages.

The CSO clip is available in solder and screw/rivet versions. The solder version allows direct mounting on a printed circuit board by means of through-hole technology. The screw/rivet version provides additional flexibility for basic designs. Due to the special copper alloy both versions are characterized by a strong clamping force resulting in minimal power loss.

The CSO fuse clip is ideal for a wide range of PV and other DC applications including inverters, battery charge controllers, and string fuse holders. Furthermore, the CSO is well suited for applications in the emobility and industrial electronics sectors. The fuse clip conforms to RoHS specifications and is currently the only photovoltaic clip on the market with cURus approval.

Schurter also offers the ASO 10.3x38 PV fuse to fit the new CSO fuse clip. The fuse clip also supports other fuses with a 10.3 mm diameter of any length. This includes, for instance, 10.3x85mm fuses for higher voltages.
