The MPR10 is a single pole, bistable power relay. It was designed for switching high current loads and for disconnecting the battery from the on-board electrical system.

For the switching operation, the MPR10 only requires a short current pulse. Afterwards, the permanent magnets hold the contact reliably closed at no
load. Materials of superior quality make the MPR10 the lightest water-proof and dust-proof power relay in the market. It offers extremely flexible installation
options in utility vehicles.

A range of mounting versions allows direct replacement of standard relays. The MPR10 can carry or switch up to 300A continuous current at DC 12V and 24V.

The Most Energy-Efficient Monostable Power Relay

The MPR20 is a monostable electro-mechanical high current relay. Its wide range input allows installation and operation in both 12V and 24V on-board electrical systems without change of the hardware and it carries 300A continuously. In the event of a power disruption, the relay will at once go into its original state due to its monostable design.

Reduction of holding power by 80% and of pull-in power by 50% allows direct connection to the controlgear and provides additional cost reduction and environmental advantages in spite of a monostable design. By using standard termination technologies and mounting dimensions, the MPR20 can easily and quickly replace conventional relays.

The Most Powerful High Voltage Relay Up To 1000 V

 

The HVR10 is a hybrid powerful high end high voltage relay in a compact design. It combines physical isolation of high voltages via an electro-mechanical contact and state-of-the-art semi-conductor technology.

The hybrid, arc-free switching system allows reliable disconnection, even in the event of an overload, of up to 2 megawatts – 2,000 A/ 1,000 V. The HVR10 withstands high short circuit currents up to 5,000 A until the fast HV-fuse trips. The fist-sized unit can switch and permanently process 300 A at 900 V up to 50,000 times, arc-free and wear-free. The innovative self-monitoring function immediately signals critical operating conditions to the controlgear.

Features:
• Continuous current capacity of 300 A at 25 °C or 250 A at 85 °C.
• The rupture capacity of up to 2000 A at 1000 V is valid for both current directions without restrictions. It is therefore possible to lead even high charging currents over the relay.
• Very low current consumption in the ON condition of typically 0.2 W (12 V * 18 mA) due to a bistable drive, which only draws power from the supply when the switching status changes.
• For a short period of time, the HVR10 can carry up to 5000 A (25ms) and facilitates the co-ordination with a suitable HV fuse.
• The switching status of the mechanical contact system as well as the current rise upon switch-on operation is continuously monitored. This allows information of the control unit about critical operating conditions.
• The hybrid switching concept uses an electronic bypass that successfully suppresses the arc, thus significantly reducing the thermal load of the mechanical contact system.

E-T-A Add-on Modules for 3120-N Circuit Breaker / Switch Combination

Easily mounted add-on modules are available for undervoltage release, magnetic trip, remote trip and auxiliary contact function.

By default, the undervoltage release modules are electrically connected to the main circuit. They can also be supplied with terminals separated from the main circuit if necessary. They allow easy and costeffective realisation of safety circuits.

The magnetic trip module trips the circuit breaker/switch combination at overload currents from four times rated current within milliseconds.

This design allows the quick, easy, and reliable connection of conductors. There are no tools required. The conductor can very easily be pushed in because of the special spring contour. Easy Wiring with a New Plug-In Connector

The 3120-N thermal circuit breaker is a single pole or double pole device which can also serve as an ON/OFF switch. Based on its cost-saving design - two functions in a single unit - it has become an integral part of many applications in medical equipment and in apparatus and machine construction. Manufacturers of professional tools also like to use it because of its compact design.

As a new accessory E-T-A offers a plug-in connector for easily wiring the connecting cables.  Two retaining clips ensure a tight connection between the plug-in connector and the breaker. The dimensions of the female contacts (tab width 6.3) are in accordance with DIN 46340 part 3, shape A. E-T-A standard delivery scope is without female contacts.

Benefits:
Reduction of wiring time during final installation saves time and costs - The plug-in connector can easily be pushed on without tools with a single movement. Female contacts do not have to be plugged on individually.
Wiring errors are excluded during final assembly - The plug-and-socket connection follows the key-lock-key-principle so that the plug cannot be pushed in the wrong way round (fool-proof).
Cable contact with long-term stability - The cable lugs latch irreversibly in the connector. The clamping arms of the connector ensure an extremely firm connection between circuit breaker and connector.

Breakers can be swapped quickly and easily - The "old device" can be pulled out with a single movement. Then just push in the new device. Done!

Besides the UL508 approval and NEC Class2, the REX12 exclusively meets the requirements of cable protection to EN60204-1.
